The Magic of Performance arts: Dance

Written by: Veronika Volfova

Another month another online Pen Buddy session.

This time we have been learning about dancing and performance art. We learnt a lot about how to express ourselves by dancing and performing in this session. We heard about the Brazilian Capoeira dance and why was this type of dance forbidden to perform.

We also explored the welcoming hula dance from Hawai and dance for harvesting. We discovered something more about different cultures and explored the world a little bit more.

At the end of our session, we enjoyed the Fun quiz and Arts and Craft time. Would you like to learn and have fun? Then join our virtual Pen Buddies sessions here.

And you can watch the recordings of the sessions here. __________________________________________________________________________________ We have connected over 500 kids from the UK with children from other parts of the world through writing letters to their Pen Buddies in Cambodia, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Russia, Namibia & Vietnam. Hope we can sustain this valuable project with great support from public donation and corporate sponsorship. You can now also buy a t-shirt from our SHOP TO SUPPORT. All t-shirts are made from certified organic cotton, without being tested on animals and printed in the UK with low waste printing tech. They are made in a renewable energy powered factory audited for a wide range of social and sustainability criteria.
