"I was delighted to be invited as the UK charity ambassador of Wisdom Foundation to visit China recently. I’ve been to Chengdu twice and witnessed the strong friendship the children have through the Pen Buddies project.", said Lawrence during an online email communication after back from our recent Pen Buddies workshop in China Chengdu TianFu District Primary 1 School.

We teach the kids how to read the letters they receive from their pen buddy, also guide them to write the reply letter.
We also conduct multicultural learning workshops in the primary school that participate in our Pen Buddies project.
According to Lawrence, the children in England are now able to learn and understand the different global cultures through the Pen Buddies workshops and develop friendships and empathy through the brilliant scheme. Their values are strengthened via the process of maintaining their friendship with their pen friends in South East Asia who have connected through the Pen Buddies project.
